Slacknig Off!!!

Since I've been back in Salt Lake I haven't updated my blog...oops.
I've been back in Utah for almost a month now, I love being back home with my family and friends that I missed so much while in Portland. I found my own place in downtown Salt Lake, and have found me a job...finally income that I earn.
Some changes have happen while I've been here. Sean Carmack is moving back to Turkey in a couple of weeks, Cass has moved in with his love Jordan (Amazon), Natalie moved just down the road from me with her boyfriend, and the Jazz started to win...except for tonight.
I plan on being in Utah for about a year, than I'm going to try and move somewhere exciting...maybe back to Portland..maybe to Denver....maybe to San Diego. I'll do it right this time and find my own place and a job before I make a move.
I haven't been taking pictures lately, but I have a new project I want to start doing...I want to take a picture everyday for a year, and maybe until the day I die.i just need to buy a external hard drive so I can keep all the pictures. I'll most likely start this project Monday and have pictures up everyday from now one.

B.O.A. (Band of Annuals)

I was talking to Mush about music and I brought up Utah's local band Band of Annuals. They are one of my favorite bands out there right now, and they recently made a trip to Portland. I just wanted to show everyone that reads this blog the amazing talent this Salt Lake City band has to offer. Expect to see them in the big time soon.

Trail of Ten Water Falls (I made it to 4 of them).

I drove down to the Silver Falls State Park just outside of Silverton, Oregon and about a hour and a half out of Oregon City. I hiked this state park for about four hours and didn't see half of the waterfalls. I don't know why this place is not a national park, but it should be. Mom I did go all alone, but just to make you feel better, the park is very busy, and if I had fallen off one of the 100+ feet waterfalls someone would have found me in seconds.

This is not one of the waterfalls. This is run off from the heavy rain storm we had for the past two days. Beautiful non the less.

Upper North Falls about 60 feet.

View in front of Upper North Falls. Not sure what the river is called.

North Falls 160+ feet.

Middle North Falls 160+ feet as well.

A bridge that takes you to that takes you to Winter Falls.

The under cover under North Falls...amazing!!!

Fruit Loop...

Randy, Gayle, Carlon and myself went to Hood River today and drove the Fruit Loop. If you don't know what the Fruit Loop is, it is Mount Hood Scenic Route that does a loop through the many farms and vineyards North of Mount Hood. The purpose is to stop at these farms and vineyards to buy and sample (lots of samples) fruit, veggies, jams, wine, candy, and pick pumpkins.

Just outside of Hood River, Oregon.

Carlon in the corn maze.

Yours truly...have not shaved in a long time.

Mount Adams from the Oregon side.

Of course I made them stop at Full Sail Brewing Company.

4. Wine in the gas station
5. Fog
6. Lottery
7. Stone Brewing Company

Destination Unkown

Oregon has so much to see besides Portland itself. Through out the months I'm trying to see as much as I can before I find a job. I'm currently looking for work, but until that happens I'm traveling throughout Oregon.

1. Newport, Oregon

Yes it's a beautiful city on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, but the real reason is Rogue's main Brewery is located in Newport.

2. Astoria, Oregon

Never been, but always wanted to visit the place where Goonies never die!!

3. Crater Lake National Park

The first time I saw a photo of this park was in Grandpa and Grandma Creb's house. I've always wanted to see Wizard Island and blue water of this volcano.

4. Mt. St. Helens, Washington

The volcano went off in 1980 and I hope when I'm up there it doesn't explode.

5. Bend, Oregon

Everyone I've talked to up here has said that I belong in Bend. I don't know why, but I'll guess I'll find out when I go there. Oh and Deschutes Brewery is based in Bend too.

6. Seattle, Washington

Never been, always wanted to go. Want to see where Kurt Cobain shot up heroin, and see the rock and roll museum.

7. Willamette Valley, Oregon

It's the wine country of the Northwest. I plan on visiting as many wineries as possible. Might need a D.D.

8. Rose Garden

I plan on going to both Jazz vs. Blazer games dressed in full purple and yellow. Go Jazz!!!

9. Goodwill, Oregon metro area

Not better than the D.I. but I need to get my shirts somewhere.

10. Salt Lake City, Utah

I'll be coming home a lot to see my family and friends..and some ladies

Miss you all..and by the way mom, I'm getting that Oregon with the green heart tattooed on me!!
