New Kid In Town

Portland is treating me very well. From the weather to the beer, this town loves my presents.
Though I do miss everyone in Salt Lake City, and I miss having friends come hang out at the drop of a dime, I think I'll stay here in Portland or P-town as the locals call it.
One thing I dislike about this city is I can't find a radio station that I like. Everything on the radio is country (not real country), Rap, and Oldies (I've heard every song they play...and Bon Jovi is not oldies).
I'm getting the roads down real easy. I made a trip out to Mount Hood, and didn't even need to use my map. Mount Hood is amazing, and I suggest when people come and visit they should devote at least half their day to drive up to Timberline and hike to the look out point to see the peak. Hood is only a hour away, and the little mountain towns are beautiful and fun to explore. I plan on driving up to Mt. St. Helens next week, and plan on hiking to the core of the mountain, I pray it doesn't erupt while I'm there.
